Ugly head

Yep joe hockey has raised his ugly head again , working till you drop  & pay more taxes  and for what , there benefit , yes , there's . There is no mention about cutting or streamlining there benefits ( no way ) , then offcourse no mention about taking away all benefit to ex ministers and prime ministers .no , after all they're not contributing .Why is it they're allowed  to retire after 9 years service on full pension and not means tested , wow , how fair, a law for the politicians and a law for the ordinary . As a overall our politicians have  not only screwed up our country but sold it . Joe hockey how are our young supposed to work if the older generation , retires late after all,Australia doesn't have manufacturing or agriculture industries any more, no , we just import and sell to foreign sources , and the money goes out of the country
What a load of shit!!
You want people to vote for you , good luck

On a new note not much better, mike Baird , sell an asset to your cronies , and that wil really benefit all NSW resident , yep another one there's obviously not a politician out there that gives a rats about the Australia public, and the average Australian just shrugs there shoulders don't you think it's time to do something about this shit

A new low in our political ranks

For those who watched Insight on the 16th June, I am outraged by Amanda Vanstone's comments to an 82 year old woman who lives in Mosman and is on a pension and who questioned how the budget would impact on her and other pensioner's.

Amanda Vanstone's advice was to redraw (re borrow) on her house, which she owns, to sustain herself and would therefore not rely on a pension. Most people work hard, sometimes even working 2 or 3 jobs to improve their life and to better their offspring's capabilities of living at home. They have paid their taxes over the 40-50 years of work and now retirees are being given advice like this?

So what's the purpose of paying taxes if we still have to pay and suffer in the end?

It would be interesting to see how much of a role hardworking Australian's taxes paid for Amanda Vanstone's Consular role in Rome.

White collar crime indeed.

Budget Bullshit!

With all the slashing to all areas that affect the average household and the aged, and of course increasing the working age, there has been no mention of saving millions by slashing all ex-Prime Ministers' handouts and entitlements and making them pay their own way, or even them being means tested.

We, the people of Australia pay for their entitlements, expense and fuel cards and subsidise Parliament House canteens, but they want to slash funding for aged, hospitals and education?! Now that Abbott has bought Dames & Sirs back in, what salary package are they on? Scrap it!!

Really I'm sure they've secured their financial status a long time ago, like most bureaucrats.
